I WAS
THERE BUT I DIDN’T SEE YOU is an exhibition bringing together the work of six
London based photographers (Caroline Södergren,
Jess Smith, Karl Ohiri, Marta Sanches Costa, Riikka Kassinen & Yasuyo
Miyake) exploring the theme of absence and presence within
photography. Photography can be thought of as a ‘medium of absence’, a
medium, which can only show us the past. Between the image and the viewer
is the gulf of time, the lack of presence.  How to fill that gap?  OPENS THIS THURSDAY 28th MAY AT 6 P.M.
