Twine is an exhibition of mixed media, from a newly formed sorority of female artists, who are exhibiting together for the first time. Twine references the material that is produced from combining individual strands to make a whole. The work on show is as varied as the media used; however the common thread that creates the twine is to look at cause and effect. The artist’s gaze is fixed on the effect; the question posed to the viewer is what is the cause?
